The House

This completely renovated century home converted to an open concept kitchen/great room is one of the most centrally located bed and breakfasts in town. Within walking distance of all theatres and restaurants means you can leave your car in the ample onsite parking and stroll. You will find well-appointed, comfortable rooms all with ensuite bathrooms. The Marquee Room is located on the main floor for those with limited mobility. Most rooms have their own private balcony with comfy seating for a nibble, chat or nap. Outdoor seating on the front porch or back garden are always available too! We are smoke free and fully wifi’d and we use only safe, hypo-allergenic, non-toxic cleaning products.

Theresa Albert, host of Breakfast at Rosehurst on Roger’s, is pleased to share her innovative take on breakfast from the property’s open kitchen which is also her TV set. You may know her face from her former TV life which included Food Network’s Just One Bite! and CBC’s Steven and Chris’s resident food and health expert.Trained as an Holistic Nutritionist, and author of two international cookbooks she is looking forward to hearing your feedback from the breakfast recipes she will be whipping up for you.

Rosehurst Stratford was built in 1896 by William Brooker, a locomotive engineer with the Grand Trunk Railway which is an integral part of Stratford’s rich heritage.
